I am a Toolmaker in the automotive industry which had not been the greatest, and now even worse with the tariffs; I got laid off when the tariffs were announced as all incoming work stopped, got called back for a meeting with my boss who wants me back but at a reduced rate since there is a lot of competition as 4 shops around him closed... So I made a deal with him that I work 4 days a week there so I can build my own thing.

 

My wife is finishing her masters program, which will be done by next summer and then I will be doing this full time. Currently working out of my garage, but will open a shop when my wife is working so we have a guaranteed income.

 

Currently not a parts dealer, I am looking into ways to get that started as typically you need a physical store front with a buisness license, but I can definitely help source the best options. Definitely not looking to make money off of parts, until I start making my own.
